Summary
Freshly-cut 'Hayward' kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa) slices were either stored in controlled atmospheres at 0 °C for 18 days or in air. Storing slices in CA delayed flesh softening and improved visual quality and sensory value compared to air storage.
