SIX COMMERCIAL PACKED FROZEN CONCENTRATED ORANGE JUICE SAMPLES WERE EVALUATED FOR SENSORY ATTRIBUTES, COLOUR, BRIX, ACID, AND BOTTOM PULP. CONSUMERS RATED FLAVOUR < LIKE MODERATELY > ON A 9-POINT HEDONIC SCALE. THE DEGREE OF SWEETNESS AND TARTNESS OF SAMPLES WAS < JUST RIGHT > ; BITTERNESS WAS SOMEWHAT EXCESSIVE AND COLOUR WAS SOMEWHAT TOO LIGHT. GENERALLY, AS THE DEG BRIX INCREASED, THE FLAVOUR IMPROVED. A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF BITTERNESS WAS PERCEIVED AS TARTNESS OR LACK OF SWEETNESS.
