Type of article: Article
Summary
Despite the fact that all experts agree on the advantages of ammonia (R717), due to the high specific evaporation heat, over fluorinated refrigerants in refrigeration technology, there are still numerous reservations about its use. In R723, the German-based Schick + Co. offer a natural refrigerant mixture which provides an easy way to eliminate the considerable drawbacks of ammonia.
