Summary
TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCES OF RESISTANCE IN THIN (D = 100 TO 1,000 ANGSTROMS) COLD-DEPOSITED SODIUM FILMS WERE INVESTIGATED EXPERIMENTALLY. IT IS FOUND THAT PECULIARITIES OF R(T) CURVE ARE OBSERVED FOR FILMS WITH THICKNESS D LOWER THAN 750 ANGSTROMS UP TO 100 K. COMPARISON OF THE OBSERVED FEATURES WITH STRUCTURAL INVESTIGATION DATA MADE IT POSSIBLE TO CONSTRUCT A PHENOMENOLOGICAL MODEL OF PHASE TRANSITIONS DURING WARMING-UP OF COLD-DEPOSITED SODIUM FILMS.
