Summary
THE PHENOMENON OF SWITCHING IN THE SOLID PHASE OF THE SODIUM-AMMONIA SOLUTION IS OBSERVED IN A MORE EXTENDED REGION OF METAL CONCENTRATION THAN THAT IN THE LIQUID PHASE. THE SOLUTION RESISTANCES IN THE HIGH-CONDUCTIVE STATE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE METAL CONCENTRATION ARE APPROXIMATELY THE SAME. AT CURRENTS CLOSE TO THOSE DESTROYING THE HIGH-CONDUCTIVE STATE THE SECOND SWITCHING IS FOUND TO EXIST WHICH IS PROBABLY CONNECTED WITH CREATION OF A NEW HIGH-CONDUCTIVE CHANNEL.
