Reaction stoichiometry for combustion of fluoroethane blends.
Author(s) : TAKIZAWA K., TAKAHASHI A., TOKUHASHI K., et al.
Summary
The combustion of blends of R-152a and nonflammable fluoroethanes (R-134a, R-125, and R-116) was investigated by means of combustion product analysis and burning velocity measurement. Combustion reactions were carried out in a closed vessel for a variety of blend compositions and over a wide range of blend/air equivalence ratios, and the chemical species produced were analyzed by gas chromatography and FTIR spectroscopy. The burning velocities of the blends were obtained. [Reprinted with permission from ASHRAE. Copyright, 2006].
