Summary
THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF A REFRIGERANT IN EQUILIBRIUM WITH AN ADSORBENT IN A REFRIGERATING ADSORPTION CYCLE CAN BE WRITTEN USING ONLY NON DIMENSIONAL PARAMETERS: THE WELL KNOWN REDUCED PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE PARAMETERS, THE PITZER'S ACENTRIC FACTOR AND THE REDUCED DUBININ'S ADSORPTION COEFFICIENT. THE NON-DIMENSIONAL DIAGRAMS GIVE USEFUL INFORMATION CONCERNING THE CHOICE OF THE BEST COUPLE REFRIGERANT-ADSORBENT.
