Summary
Comparisons are made between R1234yf, R134a, and R410A, and simulations are conducted to determine the feasibility of using R1234yf as a replacement for R134a or R410A. This paper presents a comparison between the thermophysical properties of R1234yf and R134a and R410A, and presents the results of simulations using the three refrigerants in tube-fin and microchannel heat exchangers.
