Refrigerants: tangible improvements are needed!
Fluides frigorigènes : il faut des améliorations tangibles !
Author(s) : HAËNTJENS H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Analysis of refrigerant use in France shows that the use of all types of HFCs has expanded greatly. Another feature: refrigeration practitioners are still using non-negligible quantities of CFCs, which is surprising given that these refrigerants have to be phased out within a very short time frame. Predictably, HCFC use is gradually declining: in the medium term, HCFCs also have to be phased out.
