Summary

Long-term temperature measurements in refrigerated and deep-freeze display cabinets, by the food monitoring office, have shown that the legal requirements of storage and product temperatures of refrigerated and frozen food can often not be met. The reason can be organizational and/or technical problems. Due to the frequent variations in temperature, the quality of the food (sometimes even the health of the consumer) is endangered.
