Summary
In Gerzat, in the Puy-de-Dôme region of France, Gefa now has modern, high-performance cold stores. Two refrigerating plants are used: one for facilities operated at a temperature of -40 °C and the other for stores maintained at a temperature of -30 °C. Five identical screw compressors are used, and the system used for stores maintained at a temperature of -30 °C can be used as a back-up system for the stores operated at a temperature of -40 °C thanks to a series of valves.
