REFRIGERATING CIRCUIT: REPLACING REFRIGERANTS.

CIRCUIT FRIGORIFIQUE : CHANGEMENT DE FLUIDE FRIGORIGENE.

Author(s) : FLORES A.

Type of article: Article

Summary

THIS STUDY CONCERNS THE THERMODYNAMIC CONSEQUENCES OF REFRIGERANT SUBSTITUTION IN AN EXISTING REFRIGERATING CIRCUIT. AFTER EXAMINING THE CIRCUIT WITH THE ORIGINAL FLUID AND ITS THERMODYNAMIC EQUILIBRIUM, THE AUTHOR PRESENTSA METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINING THE NEW OPERATION WITH SUBSTITUTES. HE GIVES A CALCULATION EXERCISE FOR DETERMINING THE INFLUENCE OF THE REPLACEMENT OF R502 BY R22 ON THE OPERATION EQUILIBRIUM CONDITIONS, IN A GIVEN REFRIGERATING CIRCUIT. THE AUTHOR COMMENTS ON THE INCIDENCE OF THE INFLUENCES OF THE SIMPLIFYING HYPOTHESIS ADOPTED IN THE EXAMPLE, AND SUGGESTS THAT THEY BE ELIMINATED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PRECISE EXPERT SYSTEM UNDER STUDY.
