THE GENERAL AND SPECIFIC REGULATIONS CONCERNING FROZEN VEGETABLES IN FRANCE ARE SURVEYED, WITH A TABLE GIVING THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE PERMANENT GROUP STUDYING THE MARKET OF FOODSTUFFS, INCLUDING 18 ANNEXES, TWO OF WHICH SPECIFY THE MICROBIOLOGICAL CRITERIA AND THE MICROBIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS PROCEDURES FOR FROZEN VEGETABLES AND 16 GIVING THE SPECIFICATIONS APPLICABLE TO VARIOUS KINDS OF THEM. THE GENERAL DIRECTIONS OF THE EEC APPLICABLE TO FROZEN VEGETABLES, FOR WANT OF SPECIFIC REGULATIONS, ARE GIVEN AND A TABLE ENUMERATES THE INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS RECOMMENDED BY THE CODEX ALIMENTARIUS, PUBLISHED BY FAO/WHO (GENERAL REGULATIONS AND REGULATIONS SPECIFIC TO VARIOUS FROZEN VEGETABLES).
