THE DECREE OF FEBRUARY 24, 1984 IS A SUPPLEMENT TO THAT OF MARCH 1, 1979 SPECIFYING FOR IMPORTED EGG PRODUCTS: SHELLED EGGS AND EGG YOLKS FOR FOOD PURPOSE AND EGG ALBUMINS FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, SHOULD COME FROM NON-DETERIORATED EGGS, PREPARED, HANDLED AND SHIPPED IN CONFORMITY WITH SANITARY REGULATIONS IN PLANT SUPERVISED BY VETERINARY SERVICES. THE MIXTURE OF EGGS OF DIFFERENT KINDS IS FORBIDDEN. IN ORDER TO BE RECOGNISED SUITABLE FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, EGG PRODUCTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN PASTEURISED, MEET SATISFACTORY ORGANOLEPTIC ESTIMATION CRITERIA AND MICROBIOLOGICAL CRITERIA INCLUDED IN ANNEX II OF THIS DECREE, AND NOT TO HAVE ADDED ANY ANTIBIOTIC OR ANTISEPTIC MATERIAL. ANNEX I GIVES THE FORM FOR THE SOUNDNESS CERTIFICATE RELATING TO THESE EGG PRODUCTS. G.G.
