Summary

The author introduces the structure and principle of a new type of automobile air-conditioning compressor which has a rotating sleeve, an embedded vane and two follower end covers rotating with the sleeve, and theoretically analyses its mechanism. The compressor completely solves the problems of friction and leakage between the vane outside end and the cylinder bore wall and between the vane side end and the end sealing covers. It therefore has less friction waste and less leakage loss than conventional vane type automobile air-conditioning compressors.
