Summary

Pre-climacteric mangoes were stored for 14 or 21 days at 12 °C in 5, 15, 25, 35, 45, 50 or 70% CO2 plus 21,5 or 3 O2 in a flow-through system controlled atmosphere system. After CA storage the mangoes were kept for 5 days in air at the same temperature and also in the flow-through system. Ethanol production and refrigeration were investigated for low CO2 concentrations. Mangoes seemed to be damaged.
