Summary
In this paper, the recent development of regenerator in regenerative cryocoolers is described. Stacked mesh screens, parallel wires, sphere beds, parallel plates, random wire, mesh screens & packed spheres mixed packing are the commonly used configurations for regenerators, and the characters of different regenerators are discussed separately.
