SIMPLE NON-STEADY STATE MODELLING OF A REFRIGERATED ROOM TAKING ACCOUNT AIR FLOW AND TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTIONS.

Author(s) : WANG H. W., TOUBER S.

Summary

THE AUTHORS HAVE SIMULATED THE TEMPERATURE AND THE AIR CHANGE RATE AS WELL AS THEIR DISTRIBUTION. THEY REVIEW THE THEORETICAL POSSIBILITIES OF MODELLING. RESULTS ARE PRESENTED FOR A ROOM WHICH IS ALMOST COMPLETELY LOADED WITH BOXES AND WITH A NARROW SPACE BETWEEN THEM. THE MODEL TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE MICROCLIMATE IN THE BOXES AND THE MACROCLIMATE OUTSIDE THEM. ONE OF THE ASSUMPTIONS IS THAT THE REFRIGERATED AIR FLOW IS CONSTANT.
