Summary

THE HEAT TRANSFORMER IS USED IN MANY INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES NOT NEEDING HIGH QUALITY ENERGY LIKE FUELS AND STEAM AS A DRIVING HEAT SOURCE. SINCE THE PAY-BACK PERIOD HAS AN INFLUENCE ON THE INTRODUCTION OF HEAT TRANSFORMER, SELECTING THE MACHINE AND PREDICTING ITS PERFORMANCE ARE IMPORTANT. THE HOT WATER TEMPERATURE OBTAINED AND THE HEAT QUANTITY RECOVERED MUST BE ESTIMATED. THE PAPER INTRODUCES A SIMULATION METHOD CONCERNING OPTIMIZATION OF A HEAT TRANSFORMER AND TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF IT.
