Simulation of a double-effect vapour recompression absorber cooling system.
Author(s) : LUDOVISI D., WOREK W. M., MECKLER M.
Summary
The author explains why it seems preferable to improve two-stage (water/lithium bromide) absorption machines rather than to produce three- or four-stage systems. A vapour recompression absorber capable of improving the COP of two-stage systems is described. A model of the system's performance is presented.
