Summary
The paper presents a brief review of an experimental work on solid sorption machine with heat pipe heat exchangers to cool and to heat sorbent bed. At the same time a new mode of heat and mass transfer was realized inside porous media during physical adsorption and chemical reactions, when the working fluid (ammonia) was used in two-phase flows with condensation and evaporation inside the sorbent bed to stimulate heating and cooling solid-gas reactor.
