Solubilities of POE in R32-R134a (30-70 mass%), and R32-R125-R134a (23-25-52 mass%).

Summary
The paper presents solubility data of polyolester (POE) lubricant in a binary mixture, R32-R134a (30-70 mass%), and a ternary mixture, R32-R125-R134a (23-25-52 mass%). Measurements have been conducted for temperatures of 263-323 K and pressures up to 2.1 MPa for a R32-R125-POE system, and for temperatures of 263-313 K and pressures up to 1.7 MPa for a R32-R125-R134a-POE system. The experimental uncertainties are estimated to be less than 10 mK in temperature, 5kPa in pressure and 4% in solubility. Both the binary and the ternary mixture are fully soluble with POE within the temperature and pressure ranges concerned. Correlation equations are formulated to reproduce the solubility data obtained for the two systems.
