Study of a double effect absorption refrigeration machine fonctioning with gas under the real conditions.

Summary
The aim of this study was to lead experimental research and to simulate a double-effect absorption refrigeration machine operating with a water-lithium bromide working pair and using gas as fuel. The simulation study of the 16 kW double-effect parallel flow absorption machine demonstrated the existence of an optimal solution-flow distribution between both effects and corresponding to 0.55, a 1.3 COP. The experimental study showed a good agreement between the theoretical COP and the experimental COP. The difference is never over 5%.
