Summary

The authors studied the supercooling release agent using microorganisms. Though the nucleation active bacteria had a high supercooling release ability, it was proved that the performance gradually lowered in long-term continuous use, when a live microorganism was used. The sterilization treatment of the microorganism was examined through ultraviolet irradiation. The persistence of the supercooling release ability is improved by freeze-drying treatment.
