Systems and applications: an international overview.
Author(s) : STUIJ B.
Type of article: Article
Summary
This article discusses some of the principles of advanced energy systems, highlighting the role heat pumping should play in them. Practical applications illustrate the benefits that have already been achieved, and point the way to even better and more integrated possibilities. The article also highlights a few software packages that aid the designer to analyze and optimize heat pump systems. The boxes highlight heat pump systems and applications, and some design tools in IEA Heat Pump Center member countries: Austria, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and USA.
