Summary

Systems equipped with heat pumps of air-water and ground-water types and horizontal and vertical collectors operated with conventional and condensation gas hot water boilers have been analysed in the paper. Various combinations of these systems have been analysed. The presented analysis has resulted in optimum conditions of cooperation of heat pump and gas hot water boiler in terms of technology and economics. The minimum operation costs have been chosen as the main criterion. The decision variables are portion of heat pump capacity as well as point of cooperation or switching.
