IIR document

The ATD method for predicting diffusion resistances of a refrigerant mixture during condensation.

Author(s) : DANG K., WU Y., XIE G.

Summary

The condensation mechanism of a mixture of refrigerants with different physical properties is studied. One of them condenses before the other, and the condensation of the latter produces the diffusion phenomenon that results in an additional temperature difference (ATD), between the mixture and pure refrigerant condensation temperature. A method to calculate this additional temperature difference is given.
