Summary
Pomegranate cv. Bejestan fruits were harvested 4 times at weekly intervals. Total soluble sugar (TSS) content and titrable acidity were measured before and after storage at 1, 3 or 5 deg C and 85% relative humidity for 5 months. Fruit quality was determined by a panel. From the results, the optimum harvesting date was found to be when TSS content reached 17.5% and the best storage temperature was 3 deg C.
