The mixing cooling effect and its possible application in Joule-Thomson refrigerators.
Author(s) : GONG M. Q., WU J. F.
Summary
Detailed analysis is made to study the mixing cooling effect, including the temperature drops, the exergy loss, and the perfect condition of the mixing process. There are several typical mixing processes studied with different substances for mixing, including pure gases and mixtures. Furthermore, the possible application of the mixing cooling effect in both open cycle and closed cycle of the mixture refrigeration system is also discussed.
