Summary
A large-scale study of the thermophysical properties of this ozone-safe refrigerant was undertaken. The programme of the study includes experimental research and the calculation of the thermodynamic properties of the mixture, along with a presentation of them in the form of easily useable tables. The tests are described; the results of the study of the mixture showed that in the complete interval of p, T, and X parameters, a quasi-azeotropic quality can be observed. The behaviour with oil was studied, along with the thermodynamic and energy efficiency and other properties; the blend was found to be a suitable substitute for R12. C.C.
