The transport refrigeration of the future: indispensable and CFC-free.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
The use of CFC free refrigerants in transport vehicles is reviewed. These include R134a, which is being widely used for retrofits and new equipment in the medium temperature range, and HP62 a blend of R143a, R125 and R134a for the medium and low temperature range. For very low temperature operations down to -35 deg C, HP80, a blend of R22, R125 and propane (R290) is proposed. G.R.S.
