Summary

This paper provides the results of a theoretical and experimental investigation of the performance characteristics of an ejector and ejector cooling machine (ECM) operating with refrigerant R245fa. An ejector test rig is developed and experimental results at various operating conditions are presented and evaluated. The results show that low-grade heat can be used to drive efficient ECMs for air conditioning and space cooling.
