THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF THE REFRIGERANTS R134A AND R123.

Author(s) : DÖRING R.

Summary

THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE EXPERIMENTAL MEASUREMENTS CARRIED OUT ON R134A AND R123 CONCERNING THE P-V-T BEHAVIOUR AND THE DENSITY OF BOILING FLUIDS. HE INTERPRETS THE RESULTS BY ESTABLISHING THE EQUATIONS OF STATE ACCORDING TO MAR BAEHR-KABELAC AND < EXTENDED BENEDICT, WEBB AND RUBIN >, AND COMPARES THE RESULTS OBTAINED. ALTHOUGH THESE 3 EQUATIONS REPRODUCE WELL THE VALUES MEASURED, THE EQUATION OF BAEHR AND KABELAC IS RECOMMENDED SINCE IT ONLY REQUIRES 5 CONSTANTS.
