THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF WORKING FLUIDS FOR HEAT PUMPS.

Author(s) : YARON I., JELINEK M., KANNER R.

Summary

THE LIQUID-VAPOUR EQUILIBRIUM DATA FOR THE MONOCHLORODIFLUOROMETHANE (R 22)-N-DODECANE SYSTEM WERE DETERMINED EXPERIMENTALLY. THESE DATA SHOW AN ABNORMAL BEHAVIOUR AT HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR RELATIVELY LOW CONCENTRATIONS OF R22 IN N-DODECANE. THESE DATA WERE COMPARED WITH VAN LAAR, MARGULES, WILSON, NRTL AND UNIQUAC SEMI-EMPIRICAL MODELS. THE FIRST THREE MODELS SHOW AN IMPROVEMENT FOR THE CALCULATION OF EXCESS MOLAR ENTHALPY COMPARED TO CONVENTIONAL METHODS.
