Summary

Notes that the ability of over 40 indoor plants to remove various chemicals and bioeffluents from the indoor air have been extensively tested in the laboratory over the last 10 years. Shows some of the findings in tables. Reports a new air purifying system based on this research which includes a fan-assisted air flow over the plant leaves and roots and a high-temperature bulb which kills viruses, bacteria and pathogenic microorganisms. Reports the results.
