Turbine-compressor heat using refrigeration machines for the air-conditioning plants.
Author(s) : MOROSUK T. V., MOROSUK L. I., BARENBOIM A. B., THAIKOVSKI V. F., MEROYAN A. A.
Summary
The article considers heat driven turbo-units for air-conditioning plant refrigeration machines. Calculations have been presented for the ammonia-water mixture. It is shown that connecting the thermodynamic and constructional parameters of the turbo-unit together determined the highest COP, here, for working temperature interval of an air-conditioning plant. Analysis of the results demonstrates that even in air-conditioning plants, there is considerable use of relatively compact and simple construction, often completely hermetic turbine-compressor refrigeration systems, driven by heat.
