Summary

The authors tell how liquid nitrogen can be used with a secondary refrigerant circuit for applications above the -196 deg C of liquid nitrogen. These applications include the production of pharmaceuticals at temperatures up to -100 deg, the condensation of methyl chloride at -90 deg C and the cleansing of contaminants in exhaust air at temperatures from -100 to -160 deg C.
