Using CO2 as refrigerant in refrigeration.
Author(s) : MILOVANOV V. I., TAMBOVTSEV A. S.
Summary
The pressure ratio of the refrigeration process, which uses CO2 as working fluid, is lower than that of the common refrigeration process. However, the pressure difference is extremely high. So to achieve a high volumetric and energetic efficiency of the CO2-compressor under these conditions, an appropriate design must be elaborated.
