Summary
The technical characteristics of a vortex-tube cold generator are presented. Results are given of a study on the possibility of using this refrigerating system in a refrigerated truck. Comparison is made between a compression refrigerating system using CFCs and a vortex-tube system, and the advantages of the latter are underlined. C.C.
