UTILIZING LOW TEMPERATURE HOT WATER AS HEAT SOURCE OF TWO-STAGE LITHIUM BROMIDE ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION.

Author(s) : ZHANG X. Y., YU-CHI B.

Summary

THE AUTHORS PRESENT FOR A WATER-LITHIUM BROMIDE SYSTEM THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HEAT SOURCE, THAT OF CHILLED WATER AND OF COOLING WATER UNDER CONVENTIONAL CONDITIONS AND GIVE THE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF THE HEAT SOURCE ACCORDING AS THE CIRCUIT HAS A SINGLE OR TWO STAGES. THEY SURVEY THE OPERATING CONDITIONS AND CONCLUDE THAT THE TWO-STAGE CIRCUIT IS ABLE TO USE LOW TEMPERATURE HOT WATER AND TO GIVE A BETTER RESULT THAN THE SINGLE-STAGE ONE. AN EXERGETIC ANALYSIS LEADS TO DETERMINING THE DISTRIBUTION OF IRREVERSIBLE LOSSES.
