Type of article: Article
Summary
SOUP HAS AGAIN BECOME POPULAR THANKS TO THE CRAZE FOR NATURAL, TRADITIONAL AND DIETETIC FOOD. DEHYDRATED SOUPS FOR COOKING, INSTANTANEOUS AND CANNED, ARE DOMINATING THE MARKET, BUT FROZEN SOUPS SHOW THE BEST GROWTH RATE. MANUFACTURERS INCLUDE TWO GIANT INDUSTRIAL CONCERNS AND A GROUP OF SMALL SCALE PRODUCERS. FISH SOUPS HAVE THE HIGHEST CONSUMPTION, BUT THE COMMERCIAL GAP IN VEGETABLE SOUPS IS BEING GRADUALLY CLOSED. 3 TO 4 PORTION FROZEN SOUPS ARE PACKED IN CANS OR SACHETS. J.L.
