WORKING FLUIDS FOR LOW PRESSURE ABSORPTION SYSTEMS.

Summary

TESTS ON DIFFERENT REFRIGERANT-ABSORBENT COMBINATIONS WERE CARRIED OUT IN ORDER TO STUDY WHETHER THE MIXTURES ARE SUITABLE FOR ABSORPTION SYSTEMS. THE TEST RESULTS ON VAPOUR PRESSURE, SOLUBILITY AND THERMAL STABILITY ARE GIVEN FOR SELECTED FLUIDS COMBINED WITH TRIFLUOROETHANOL, TRIFLUORODICHLOROETHANE (R123A) AND TRIFLUOROCHLOROETHANE (R133A) AS REFRIGERANTS.
