Summary

STRUCTURAL STUDIES HAVE REVEALED UNBOUNDED RECIPROCAL SOLUBILITY OF THE COMPONENTS OF THE DEUTEROMETHANE-KRYPTON SYSTEM AT T HIGHER THAN 5 K. THE EFFECTS OF KRYPTON ON THE PHASE TRANSITION TEMPERATURES AND SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF ORIENTATIONALLY ORDERED DEUTEROMETHANE PHASES WERE STUDIED. THE CONCENTRATION BOUNDARIES OF EXISTENCE OF ORDERED PHASES IN SOLID SOLUTIONS WERE FOUND. THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA SUGGEST POSSIBILITY OF SHORT-RANGE ORIENTATIONAL ORDER REGIONS IN DISORDERED SOLUTIONS.
