Summary

A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE EFFICACY OF 4 FUNGICIDES (IMAZALIL, FC-1, TOTAL SHOCK AND TECTAB) IN THE DISINFECTION OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE STORE ROOMS WAS CARRIED OUT. SUSPENSIONS OF MIXTURES OF SPORES OF PENICILLIUM, CLADOSPORIUM, RHIZOPUS, ALTERNARIA, GEOTRICHUM ANDBOTRYTIS GENERA WERE DISPERSED IN APPROXIMATELY 12 M3 STORE ROOMS, AND THE FUNGICIDES ASSAYED WERE APPLIED. FC-1 SHOWED THE BEST AND MOST HOMOGENEOUS BEHAVIOUR AGAINST DIFFERENT MOULDS GENERA. IMAZALIL AND TOTAL SHOCK SHOWED ALSO SATISFACTORY RESULTS.
