Summary
During the years since the Montreal Protocol was signed, a number of refrigerants have been developed or "rediscovered". One of these is propane which was already used in the twenties but had disappeared as a refrigerant in the thirties. This thesis gives the results of a comparison of propane and R22 and investigations of the influence of oils. Influence of type and size of the condenser has also been investigated.
