Summary

THE AUTHORS HAVE DEVELOPED A REFRIGERATION SYSTEM USING A FLOODED EVAPORATOR, INCLUDING A HEAT EXCHANGER BETWEEN THE LIQUID SUCTION AND SUPPLY TO THE EVAPORATOR, AS WELL AS A TWO-STAGE EXPANSION PROCESS. THE SUPERHEAT, AT THE EXCHANGER OUTLET, IS DIRECTLY CONTROLLED, AND THE OILIS RECOVERED FROM THE EVAPORATION SYSTEM IN A SIMPLE AND EFFICIENT WAY. THE TWO-STAGE EXPANSION SYSTEM USED IS PERFECTLY SUITED TO MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL.
