A simulation study on the quasi steady-state thermal behaviour in a CO2 heat pump water heater system.

Number: pap. ID: 417

Author(s) : KIM D. H., KIM M. S.

Summary

CO2 heat pump water system is expected to contribute to alleviate energy consumption in residential hot water supply. A dynamic simulation for water heater system is required since the performance of heat pump varies as condenser inlet temperature increases. A simulation research for CO2 heat pump water heater system which includes hot water reservoir was carried out. The characteristics of thermal distribution in reservoir and heat pump system performances during operation were investigated.
