IN INDIA VEGETABLES, FRUIT, CEREALS AND ESPECIALLY FISH ARE WASTED DUE TO LACK OF PROPER STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS, MOST OF WHICH ARE COSTLY. FREEZING AND STORAGE USING LIQUID NITROGEN IS PROPOSED, USING A LOW PRESSURE AIR SEPARATION SYSTEM TO PRODUCE THE NITROGEN. THE OXYGEN WILL BE USED FOR SEWAGE TREATMENT. PLANT CAN BE SET UP IN URBAN AREAS TO OVERCOME SUPPLY PROBLEMS AND LIMIT THE COSTS. G.R.S.
