A study of thermodynamic properties of HFC32-HFC125-HFC134a ternary mixture.

Summary

The authors have developed equations of state for the ternary mixture from the equations of state for the constituent refrigerants. The present equations of state are expected to be effective for vapour-liquid equilibrium and superheated gaseous phase, where the range of temperatures is from 240 to 450 K, pressures up to 8 megapascals. The present equations are effective not only for the ternary mixture but also for R32-R125, and R32-R134a binary mixtures. A complete evaluation of the mixtures requires much more information. Measurements in a wide range and for different compositions are also needed to develop a perfect equation of state.
