A TEMPERATURE MONITORING SYSTEM IN THE COLD CHAIN.

UN MOYEN DE CONTROLE PERMANENT DE LA TEMPERATURE DANS LA CHAINE DU FROID.

Summary

MONITORING THE TEMPERATURE OF REFRIGERATED GOODS IS DEMANDED MORE AND MORE BY PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND CONSUMER GROUPS. CHANGING COLOR INDICATORS DETECT ABNORMAL CONDITIONS BUT THEY CAN LEAD TO POTENTIAL CONFLICTS SINCE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE AT WHAT LEVEL OF THE DISTRIBUTION CHAIN A PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED, WHEREAS CONVENTIONAL SYSTEMS ARE WELL SUITED RATHER FOR LABORATORY MONITORING. AN ELECTRONIC SYSTEM IS PRESENTED INCLUDING SMALL SIZED ELECTRONIC TEMPERATURE RECORDERS OPERATING ON A WIDE RANGE OF TEMPERATURES. THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE RECORDERS CAN BE EITHER PRESENTED AT THE LOCATION WHERE THE GOODS ARE RECEIVED, OR THEY CAN BE TRANSMITTED BY STANDARD TELECOMMUNICATION CHANNELS, TO A CENTRAL PLACE.
